Last month, somewhere in between holidays my very good friend's adult daughter delivered a still born baby. My efforts to help arrange for a small graveside service for their sweet angel princess allowed me a small glimpse into just how amazing others can be in times of need.
Most humbling was the silent sweet gift of one man. He was asked to build a casket for the baby. Time was something this man doesn't have a lot of, but he spent one entire day of his weekend and went well above what he was asked to do.
The only instruction he was given was that the baby's mom didn't want it to be "just a box." I'd say he listened to that request and then added his own level of perfection. The perfect resting place for the body of this sweet baby.
